Odor removal

Odors have a way of getting in our homes by way of pets

and a

variety

of other sources.

The main odor we get

called on to

remove is pet urine.

In most cases the pet urine will seep all the way down into

the

padding

of the carpet. If this

happens, in order to

completely

remove the odor,

the source of the odor must

be removed.

This is accomplished by saturating the contaminated area

with a

rinsing

agent and using a

tool called a water claw to

suck the

rinse agent and

the urine out of the padding. This

can

be done

without removing the

carpet.

We then saturate the area with a deodorizor that changes

the

odor

molecules into non

odorous molecules. At this

point we

extract the

deodorizor from the padding using the

water

claw and

rinse the area

thoroughly to prevent any

sticky residue from

attracting new soil to

the

surface of the

carpet.

There are some situation that only require that the top of the carpet be treated for odor such as
wet dog smell or odors that are in the home from various sources.
